Inspired Farming at AIA
Where students grow skills, confidence, and community, one garden bed and chicken coop at a time.
Autism Inspired Academy’s hands-on learning hub for horticulture, animal care, and environmental stewardship.
What is the Inspired Farming?
The Inspired Farming is AIA’s outdoor classroom, an inclusive, sensory-considerate space where autistic and neurodivergent learners practice real-world skills through gardening, animal care, and environmental projects. From tending a cordgrass nursery to caring for our chicken flock, students experience meaningful work that builds independence, communication, and pride.
Student-led goals: This year, students are preparing for a Fall Festival Plant Sale to raise funds and purchase supplies for welcoming goats to the farm.
